Default Help with high pitched whistling noise

'98 Accord sedan, 4 cyl. bought new. 89,500 miles.
It started a few weeks ago and getting annoying as hell.
Only under acceleration, not at idle. Sounds like it comes from
under the hood. Brought it to the dealer, they couldn't find any
"vaccuum leak". BUT, it's still there. Any suggestions from the
Honda mechanics?
Thanks.

Sleazzy,

Try running it without the air filter (just as a test) and see if you

Use a length of 1/4" plastic tubing as a stethoscope and go
hunting for it while someone holds the throttle open a little or
even loads the engine against the handbrake in reverse gear.

Sleazzy,

I have the same problem, narrowed it down to the air filter / inlet and
then found this forum.

How did you fix your problem ?

Many thanks
