Hi,
I have a 91 civic. I need to replace the back-up light switch, that is located on the transmission, under the distributor. The switch is mounted with a horizontal hex bolt. I cannot undo it because there is not enough room for good leverage. I cannot put down a deep socket either, because the top of the switch is wider than the bottom, where the bolt is. Tried penetrating spray. Any advice is greatly appreciated. |

Can you get at it with a crows foot and an extension on your ratchet
wrench? http://www.allproducts.com.tw/tool/okt/08-ja-crw.jpg Sean wrote: > > Hi, > I have a 91 civic. I've never had a problem, standard 19 mm open end Craftsman wrench.

I've never done this repair, but perhaps a crow's foot will help. It's an
open ended wrench that snaps onto the extension of a ratchet. "Sean" <eksgun@hotmail.com> wrote in message news:c0oqoh$2rn$1@news.doit.wisc.edu... > Hi, > I have a 91 civic. Crow's foot worked great, thanks for the advice.
