The car comes with a keyless remote standard. The manual says that the
car can't be started without the key because of a chip in the key fob. Can the car be jump started? Do I need an add-on security system that disconnects ignition or fuel pump? I called 4 Honda dealers - two tried to sell me a security system from $399 to $599. The other two asked me why I would want something like that? Thanks for any help! |

no.
The chances of ur '04 being stolen is about as high as tickle_me_asshole_elmo going out on a date: nil. Unless you're stupid and leave the car running while you go in to get a slurpee. How to turn off 'Maintenance Required" light: 1. Hold trip/reset button on dash 2. Turn key to "ON" or start engine 3. Hold button til light goes out |

Thanks for the reply. Supposedly, Accords are the second most
frequently swiped cars (after Camrys). drpimpdaddi@aol.complaint (He Hate Retards) wrote in message news:<20040215134025.04082.00001096@mb-m05.aol.com>... > no. > > The chances of ur '04 being stolen is about as high as tickle_me_asshole_elmo > going out on a date: nil. > > Unless you're stupid and leave the car running while you go in to get a > slurpee. > > > > > > How to turn off 'Maintenance Required" light: > > 1. They are frequently stolen because there are so many of them!

Many of the pros use towtrucks. No fancy key will stop that. Otherwise,
you are safe.
