That's why there are regulations for 'pedestrian safe' car design. The next
regulation in the work for SoCal is a catalytic converter hooking up the pedestrian's ass, since it would reduce noxious emission better than the previous CO2 regulation for cars. Look for a ban on baked beans soon - very bad emissions.;-) Then there's the Hibachi and other associated barbecue-type polluters. The World Hysteria Organization (WHO) will of course confirm that the benefit of lower health risks due to elimination of carcinogenic effects of smoke treated meats will require a world-wide agreement... beginning with a tax levied against all mfrs of grills, charcoal and wood-chips and a ban on advertising of such goods.
