I am buying a 1999 Accord with the V6. The idle is oscilating between 1100 and
1900 rpms at an idle after it warms up. The check engine light is also on. Any ideas? How hard to fix? Cost? It is at an auction, so if I want the car I have to fix it myself. Thanks Bill Ultrastryk@aol.com |

Possibly a bad oxygen senor? What code are you getting?

The fast idle throbbing could anything from a leaky injector to a cracked engine block. |

It's a bad IAC (Idle Air Control valve). It's mounted under the throttle
body. See this alot. "ULTRASTRYK" <ultrastryk@aol.com> wrote in message news:20040201071128.27200.00001350@mb-m11.aol.com... > I am buying a 1999 Accord with the V6.
