hello
I'm thinking of improving visibility on my '94 Civic GLi and thinking
of getting white bulbs, but not sure what kind. Should I get H4's? If
so, just any white H4?

H4 isn't in and by itself an upgrade over 9003. I use Sylvania
XtraVision and are happy with them. The US variety Sylvania SilverStar
has the same light output as XtraVision, but costs a lot more and lasts
a lot shorter.

You could also add a set of Sylvania Xenarc 1010 auxiliary low beams.
They work very well. True HID lights and they are DOT compliant.

Just keep away from any bulb that is tinted blue. They are a waste of
money and actually have lower light output.
