heard roumours of a re-born CRX being in production over 2005. this is old
news, as honda was just toying with the idea when i heard. maybe they`ve come to a final decision? http://www.crxsi.com/resources/CRX_concept/ tim "Doublej" <akadoublej@hotmail.com> wrote in message news:4017a935$0$11456$61fed72c@news.rcn.com... > for the US market beside the new Odsyssey. That may be. I believe that Honda will learn the hard way, as
Toyota did with the T100 and Subaru has with the Baja, that if you expect to sell trucks to truck buyers and not just to woman you better build a real truck. ![]() mike hunt Stephen Bigelow wrote: > > <MikeHunt2@mailcity.com> wrote in message > news:401802BC.BE422CFC@mailcity.com... > > Do you believe a pick up based on a FWD car chassis will > > sell to truck buyers? > > > > > > mike hunt > > I believe Honda knows more about the car and truck market than you do. > > > Jeff Tamblyn wrote: > > > > > > A four door pickup based on the Pilot. |

Why did you make the ASSumption that something that vaguely resembles a truck must therefore be marketed to Joe Redneck to replace his F150? That's the same thinking that made all the senseless CRV noise back in 97, when people heard it drove all wheels and therefore insisted on comparing it to a jacked-up Jimmy. Fact: Honda will sell all of these 4 door truck things they can make, and they will be able to keep the price way up, too. It's the next Odyssey--a market that hasn't been touched yet by Honda and which Honda buyers want. |

People said that about SUV's off car chassis.....but look at the success of
the Pilot, Highlander, CRV, RAV4, and others. Don't forget about the El Camino and Ranchero of years past. <MikeHunt2@mailcity.com> wrote in message news:401802BC.BE422CFC@mailcity.com... > Do you believe a pick up based on a FWD car chassis will > sell to truck buyers? > > > mike hunt > > > > Jeff Tamblyn wrote: > > > > A four door pickup based on the Pilot. |
