I have a 97 Civic Hatchback.

The 3rd tail light (on the spoiler) is dead and
I need to figure out how to change the bulb.
According to the service manual, there are 2
screws holding the lens on, but I can't figure out
how to get to them. There are two holes on
either side of the red lens but these don't
seem to have screws in them.

Can anyone give me a pointer?

Maybe you can't see the bolt because is cover with dirt.

I just did this in a 2000 HB (same chasis) and there are 2 screws where the
manual states but they're recessed pretty far. I was scared of having them
fall into oblivion so use a magnetic screwdriver and be careful.
