I disagree. BTY, I'm not whining, I'm complaining - different connotation
and denotation. The expectation is different since the initiation is
different - it's logic.

The problem is that the A/C can't not be turned off in deforst mode with
knowing how to turn off the factory's default program. It kind of
useless to have the A/C on when the temperature is zero degrees.

And even though the button lights up, the compressor won't engage at
that temperature.

Don't worry about it.

I feel something kicked in when in defrost mode. It was below freezing.

If the engine was warmed up, inside the engine compartment it was probably
above freezing.
