Has there been any speculation on the Internet about the redesigned
2005 Odyssey?

No doubt it will be all-new; it wasn't the net but rather Honda's own
press releases that gave some indications. The 05 Odyssey will benefit
from Honda's new safety initiative, which will put every safety feature
they have into every vehicle they sell, from the lowliest Civic on up.
They'll roll these features in as the models get redesigned.

Within a few years, it won't matter if you're a Civic DX customer or an
Acura RL customer; if Honda has a safety feature ready to be installed,
it'll be installed in whatever car you buy. Period.

Anyway, it was within this context that Honda announced the 05 Odyssey
will be one of the first vehicles to benefit from this.
