Silverstars are not HID bulbs. They are a very bright Halogen. The US
version of this bulb are colored. The European version are not colored.

I see no mention by me or pencilcup of Silverstars below. You are right of
course, though the U.S. Silverstar is also U.S. legal whereas the Euro
Osram version is not... but I don't see the relevance of your post.
