Default Car spun out - what damage could I have done?

I am headed home on Sat night doing about 80 on my Accord Coupe.
Little Bambi decides to jump out in front of me. I veer right and the
car starts fishtailing. I tried controlling it but ended up doing a
complete 270 with car pointed the wrong way and smoke everywhere.

Someone was looking out for me because traffic was at least a mile
away. I immediately straightened the car and drove off. When I got
home 10min later it was still smelling of burnt rubber.

Question:

Car seems to be driving fine but should I be checking it out for
anything?

What possible damage could I have done?

Check the tires for flat spots.

As long as you didn't hit a curb or anything, should be OK. The tires
might have a little flat spot, but if you don't feel or hear anything
unusual form them, they are OK too. You certainly would have done a
lot more damage if you had nailed Bambi.

Just curious, when you steered to the side, did you let go the gas pedal at
the same time?
If you did, that most probably made the front end slow down and, combined
with the sudden change of direction, the car spun.

I'm not sure but that could have been the sequence of events.

Damage????

A lot of us do that every weekend for FUN!

Honda knows this and designs cars accordingly.
The car can handle it, just work on your technique.
For example, the spin should terminate with a seamless drive-off, as though you
do that every day at about this time.
270 degrees means failure to complete a correct 360. Deduct points.
Extra points if you can pat Bambi on the head as you go by.

I managed a 360 in a Nissan once, but it was on ice, so I had a little
help. ;-)
