I have 98 prelude with VTEC engine. Any body have a guess or
experience on how many miles this engine will go if maintained and
driven reasonable?

If properly maintained, the engine will probably last longer than any other component on the car, so I wouldn't worry about it.

My '88 Accord engine hardly had a problem the 200,000 miles I have
driven it. The rest of the car wore out first.
