I just bought a civic EX sedan (5 sp). I really like a lot about the
car. It handles and drives great. However, the seating, to me, is absolutely horrible. There is a large bulge at the bottom where the honda engineers assumed everyone has a hollow in their back. The sides are narrow and protrude into your ribs. Is there anything I can do about this???? I know I should have caught it during the test drive but I guess I wasn't considering it to much. If I can't change it I may have to trade the car in, step down and loose money. And....by the way.....I am not that fussy. I have never owned a car newer than 8 yrs old before this. I have never sat in seating so bad. Marc |

I didn't notice the bulge, so I must have the "correct" hollow in my back. I definitely did notice the pinch of those side bolsters though. 10 months later, I don't notice the side bolsters unless I think about it. The car is quite comfortable. -- --- Clarence A Dold - Hidden Valley (Lake County) CA USA 38.8-122.5 |

I just traded in my 2000 Civic Dx for a 2000 Civic SiR and i found that the
seats in the DX were Crap and very uncomfortable and the seats in the SiR are alot more comfortable. Although the driver seat in the SiR isadjustable too. <dold@CivicXseat.usenet.us.com> wrote in message news:btqp1a$enk$1@blue.rahul.net... > mac55 <mcam54@hotmail.com> wrote: > > I just bought a civic EX sedan (5 sp).
