It lit up yesterday.

I'm a fanatic about keeping the car serviced. 87,200 original
miles (I bought the car new).

The manual indicates loose or no gas cap. What ???
The cap is there, and tight.

High pitched hissing noice from engine compartment, while
running. Was told (by a lay person) that it was a vaccuum leak.

The only mods are an intake.

Anyone with thoughts?
