Thanks to those that have provided feedback. This is follow-up
when I go to start the car with the key in the ignition, the green key light on the dash continues to flash. Is this normal or not? If Not then how can I bypass? How can I get the car started to get to the dealer? What is the defective part and how easy is it to replace. Thanks for your support in advance |

If you bothered to read your manual, you would know it is the immobilizer.
Try your other spare key. Try taking the key off of your key ring before starting, especially if you have other RFID enabled keys or tags (i.e. MobilPass) on your keyring. If you still can't get it to start, your next option is to call a tow truck. You can't bypass it, it's an anti-theft feature. If you could bypass it, there would be no point in having it in the first place. Call one, see if they can help. Norm |
