Has anybody located the 5w20 grade of this oil. All grades of this have
performed exceptionally well in both virgin oil analysis tests and Used oil
analysis tests at Bobistheoilguy.com

I'd like to put this in the crankcase as opposed to the Valvoline I've been
using. I've only run across the 10-30 and 5-30

Robert, your best bet is to look in your local yellow pages under
"oil" or "lubrication" and find your local Chevron jobber. He should
be able to get you anything in their line-up. The only drawbacks are
the price is not likely to be as cheap as Wal-Mart, Costco, etc ...
and you may have to buy in case lots.

Still, the brand is one of the best if not THE BEST and using your
local jobber is probably more cost effective than a discount store
snipe hunt.

My second choice would be the Pennzoil 5W20 ... which is widely
available at discounters.

According to the Chevron website, these chains sell Chevron Supreme:

AID Auto Stores
Checkers
Costco
GI Joes
Kragen Auto
O’Reilly Automotive (Texas)
Pep Boys Western US
Schucks
Sam’s (Select locations)
Wal-Mart (Sunbelt and Western U. S.)


I would guess that many will not stock 5W-20 as it is less popular than
10W-30, 10W-40 and 5W-30, especially for DIY oil changers. 5W-20 is
specified by Ford and Honda for many of their newer models, but most of
these vehicles are being dealer serviced and many DIYs are afraid of 5W-20.

I would get out my phone book and call the stores in my area from the list
above. Costco and Sams are probably going to be the last places to stock
5W-20 as they focus exclusively on fast selling items.

If you can not find it, the Motorcraft 5W-20 also seems to be getting good
reviews on bobistheoilguy and I've purchased the Motorcraft 5W-20 at both
WalMart and AutoZone.
