I keep hearing rumors of Honda building a truck in fall of 04.
Anyone have more info and pics.

Word is that the truck will be built on the Pilot platform. I'm looking
forward ton seeing if it will also be AWD.

Most likely, because RWD is out of the question for Honda and a FWD truck is
just too ridiculous of an idea... even though that's what the Honda truck
will be under 99% of driving conditions.

I'm pretty sure Honda makes at least two rear wheel drive automobiles, and
one of them is even front engine. So I doubt that it would be out of the
question. But I haven't heard anything about a Honda truck.

A couple of years ago I heard a lot of hype about a Honda "light truck"
- which turned out to be the Element.

This week's AutoWeek magazine had an artists rendering and story.
It will be built on the Honda Pilot/Acura MDX platform.
Expect it to debut at a major 2004 auto show (Detroit).
Look for them in Honda showrooms as a 2005 model in late 2004.

Check www.hondanews.com for more info on this vehicle and a artists
rendering of this vehicle. Expect it to be build on the existing
Pilot/MDX platform and drivetrain and it will most likely be patterned
after the Chevy Avalanche as far as looks go.
