I had a similar problem with the trunk on my '84 Accord. I replaced the
gaskets on the tail lights, but that didn't help. Eventually, I crawled
into the trunk with a flashlight and had my wife hose down the car. The
problem was a poor weld in the gutter near the corner of the rear window.
The fix was to dry it out and smear silicon sealant in the gutter. Dry as a
bone now!
