Hey I just got a 1991 Honda Civic 4dr Sedan and the trunk lock wont close.
Know any where online I can buy a trunk lock ? Maybe I should get a keyless power trunk lock ? This is my Civics only problem so I want to keep it, the car has 88,000 miles on it and looks really good, plus I only paid $1800 for it. |

Tried it...the part of the lock that must strike the bottom latch(the ring thingy) will not meet no matter how much I try to adjust them. The lock itself allso looks bent. |

A 4-door 1991 Honda Civic LX trunk lock goes for about $31 (not including shipping) at http://www.hondaautomotiveparts.com/...catdisplay.jsp Let us know if you got the old one off and re-installation looks easy. :-) > Maybe I should get a keyless > power trunk lock ? > This is my Civics only problem so I want to keep it, the car has 88,000 > miles on it and looks really good, plus I only paid $1800 for it. Sounds very promising. Enjoy. Caliban 1991 Honda Civic LX 4-door sedan owner, 149k miles; aiming for over 200k miles |
