I just bought a new Accord EX-V6 and was wondering what I could do to
make the car more secure. After all, the Accord is one of the most popular cars for thieves/break-ins/parts. Are wheel locks actually useful? Or do thieves have some "master key" anyway? Is the factory alarm good enough, or is an upgraded alarm w/shock sensor a useful deterrent? Any advice appreciated... |

Snap On sells such beasts. They're only about $100. My service guy showed it to me; he said he could get the wheel locks off in half the time or less with this tool than by using the official wheel lock key. |

No need. Accords now come with engine immobilizers, standard. Most stolen
Accords are late 80s and early 90s models, which didn't come equipped. .................... I do not killfile nor use do-not-call lists. |
