After a lifetime of American and European autos, I made
the plung and picked up an '04 Civic Hybrid to commute in. It seems like a solid little car. I was wondering though, what are the best places to look for after-market accessories? (On-line & Catalog) Thanks, Cougar |

They have to be purchased at the same time as the car to have the full factory warranty. It's only 1 year if purchased later. .................... I do not killfile nor use do-not-call lists. |

It seem to me the best place to buy accessories is from the
manufacture and dealership because you will have the benefit of the factory warranty if the installation, or the product, fails. If you trust the manufacture and the dealer enough to buy the vehicle from them why not trust them enough to know what is best for your expensive new vehicle? Why trust someone you don't know in an effort to save a relative few dollars? ![]() mike hunt Cougar wrote: > > After a lifetime of American and European autos, I made > the plung and picked up an '04 Civic Hybrid to commute in. > It seems like a solid little car. Buy a copy of Sport Compact magazine. There are a lot of ads in it.

(yawn) Any reputable installer will give you a warranty and/or guarantee on the product, and workmanship. > If you trust the manufacture and the dealer enough to buy the > vehicle from them why not trust them enough to know what is best > for your expensive new vehicle? What are you trying to say here...that one automatically trusts the dealer/salesperson just because you buy a car there? That's absurd. Mikey, do you have any idea how stupid you sound? What an idiot. BTW, where's those braniac "shop guys" of yours? Are they busy changing light bulbs and washing cars? -- '03 S2000 '94 Accord It's just about going fast...that's all... http://home.insight.rr.com/cgreen/ |
