I just got an '02 Honda S2000. Its really great fun to drive. I love it!
I got it from a dealer and the boot that covers the top when it's down was
not included. Other than a dealer does anybody have suggestions of a good
source for a Honda accessory like this?

What color is yours? Mine is an '03 and Spa yellow...I love it...what a
total blast to drive!

Anyway, the boot is going to be a Honda part. Unfortunately, it cant be had
aftermarket.

Id go put it on the dealer. That's a part of the car that should have been
included. If he cant find the one that came with it, methinks he should have
to buy you one.

Tell him as far as your concerned, the car is "not complete".

Is it attached by snaps? If so, any competent sail maker will probably
be able to roll a custom part for you and it might even be cheaper.

It's silver with Black interior. As far as working the dealer over the boot,
I got them down $5k on the price and wasn't thinking there was much more
wggle room there. I bought it from a Toyota Dealer so they probably didn't
have as much access to parts at cost. Anyway I see there was one on Ebay...
I looked at someyellow ones and test drove a yellow one, they are pretty
cool too. One of yellow ones showed some signs of rough treatment on the
underside so I picked the grey one. The dealer explained that the
relationship between the acccelorator pedal and tickets was much much
stronger than the relationship between color and speeding tickets :-) .

You may also want to check www.s2ki.com. There are forums with loads of
info, as well as for sale ads. I know a lot of S2000 owners don't even
bother with the boot cover, and may be willing to just get rid of one.
I certainly wouldn't pay the Honda price. I use mine about 1/4 of the
time I have my top down.

sells stuff insanely cheap, especially to S2000 owners.
