Default Q: Help installing CD player in 96 Accord

Hello,
I recently bought a 1996 Accord EX, and it has a cassette deck inside. I
bought a Kenwood cd player to install, but when I opened up that front
section and removed the Honda tape deck I realised there is no place for
brackets to hold my new player.

I'm wondering how do people normally go about this, the bracket holding the
original tape deck is at the base near the gear shift. I was expecting there
to be place on the sides (normal 'shelving' style bracketing areas). I
suppose I need some kind of kit to install? How do i go about setting this
up?

Thanks for the help

You'll have to get an install kit ... Usually includes brackets and
whatnot for you to put your aftermarket stereo into, and then they whole
bracket snaps into place.. I checked out crutchfield.com (just for an
example) assuming you have an EX coupe (although it should be the same
opening for all body styles).. check this out:

Have fun!
