Default course of action

Hello all,

Just looking for some advice. About 20 months ago, my wife got in a very
small fender bender with her new 2001 Accord. The front grill and hood
needed to be replaced and painted.

As soon as I got the car home from the paint shop I noticed that the paint
was flaking from around the headlight area. I asked them to repaint it,
which they did.

Now I have noticed over the past year, small snicks about 1/8 to 1/4 inch
wide all over the hood. The now number about 20. These nicks go right down
to the grey primer. Not that the nicks are deep, its just that the paint is
so terribly thin.

I am wondering if there is any course of action I can take to have the hood
painted again (free of charge of course) because of poor workmenship the
first time. And if so, how would I go about doing it.

thanks,

Matt Lobur

Default Re: course of action

all depends on the paint shop; emphasize to them that you will get word out
about them-good or bad.

after two years, the body shop removed and repainted my rear bumper because
their paint started peeling. then completely cleaned and detailed the car.
they know that i would recommend them to others.
