Maybe someone can help me. I have a 03 CRV, 5spd, 4wd. My CRV is 6months old
with 6100 miles, no previous accidents and I saw them take it off the
delivery truck. When I turn the wheel to the left 45 degrees there is a loud
clunk from the passenger side front end. Just started a week ago. This can
be felt in the floor board! Took it to the dealer and they are mystified.
Everything looks okay and they can't tell what its from. They are going to
call Honda and ask them about any problems like this before they start
replacing the suspension.
Anyone else have this problem or hear about it?

My Acura used to have a similar problem. Went to the dealer at least 5 times
but they were never able to fix it. Traded it in soon thereafter.

I have a 2002 CRV, been to the shop about 12 times for a clunking
noise in the front passenger side, also has a crunching noise in the
front right when you turn right. I am really getting po'd at honda. I
have called numerous times they just tell me to bring it back to the
dealer. The last time was this past week to a different dealer at the
request of honda for a 2nd opinion. The result was they replaced the
right rear axle, front passenger strut, and fixed something with the
brakes. 2minutes after i left the lot i heard the same noises. Dint
know what to do now. One thing i KNOW IS I WILL NEVER BUY A HONDA
AGAIN.

Got a call from the dealer. They called Honda and there is a fix for it.
There is some kind of tubing they put over the spring to make the noise go
away. My dealer called the Honda tech line and they told them about it. They
have ordered the parts but have not gotten to the dealer to have them
installed yet.
