Default '94 Accord antenna stuck in UP position.

Well, it's better than being stuck in the down position.

I can hear the little motor running for a few seconds when I turn
the radio on or off, so it appears to be that plastic
whatchamacallit that I've seen discussed somewhere before.

Can someone instruct me how to fix this, or point me to an
explanation? I need to do it myself if that's possible.

Straighten the antenna. It's probably bent a little.

The plastic whatchamacallit broke in my 83 RX-7.
I bought a generic power antenna at Kragen's for about $29.

The motor has a clutch on it, to keep it from burning up if the antenna is
physically stuck. Have someone push down on it while turning off the radio.
A lot of times, all they need is lubed.

Good luck.
