Well, it's better than being stuck in the down position.
I can hear the little motor running for a few seconds when I turn the radio on or off, so it appears to be that plastic whatchamacallit that I've seen discussed somewhere before. Can someone instruct me how to fix this, or point me to an explanation? I need to do it myself if that's possible. |

I need to do it myself if that's possible. The plastic whatchamacallit broke in my 83 RX-7. I bought a generic power antenna at Kragen's for about $29. -- --- Clarence A Dold - Hidden Valley (Lake County) CA USA 38.8-122.5 |

The motor has a clutch on it, to keep it from burning up if the antenna is physically stuck. Have someone push down on it while turning off the radio. A lot of times, all they need is lubed. Good luck. -- It's just about going fast...that's all... http://home.insight.rr.com/cgreen/ |
