I have an 03 Accord EX-L automatic which seems to vibrate quite a lot
while sitting at a traffic light. I think it is getting worse. I used to think it was related to the A/C drag at idle in gear, but the A/C not running these days. I sit at the light and the just vibrates. I had this condition in my 95 Camry, but not until it was several years old. The dealer said it was motor mounts getting stiff with age. Obviously that's not the issue here. Feels similar though. What are others' experiences? I know a 4 cyl tends to do this more than a V6, but this is more than I expect (and I think more than it did even a month or two ago). |

Isn't it still under warranty? Why guess. Get the dealer to fix it.

If you increase the engine speed by 50-100rpm, is it better? From there,
you can ask the Honda tech if increasing the idle is possible. On my 2002 Accord Coupe they found out it was the a/c hose vibrating against
something under the hood. It sure made a big difference!! I noticed this when test driving the 4-cyl Accord. 4-cylinders typically vibrate much more at idle (that's just a result of the design). I opted for the 6. |

Thanks all for the input. I'll have the dealer check it the next time
I'm in for service.
