Default Rain Guard Water Drops Into Car

On 2003 Civic LX sedan, the water drips off the rain guard into the car. Is
this by "design"?

Yep! That way when you sit down, you are also cleaning the seats!

My 02 Accord coupe is the worst vehicle I"ve ever seen for this. The trunk is
just as bad. Can't open the windows with any rain, even at speed. Can only
open the moonroof in dry weather. Makes me wonder if it rains in Japan.
Otherwise, it's a great car, but the water problem is a pain in the ass.

Well don't feel bad. They didn't fix that in the redesign. My 03 Accord
does that too. If anything, they made it worse.
