Hi,

My 96' Civic exhaust pipe broke off yesterday, I went to a local auto
shop for estimate. The guy is asking for $370 to replace the exhaust
pipe between muffler and manifold header. Does that sound right? I
though it would be under $200.

Anyone out there have the similar experience please let me know.

Mine broke too and I had it replaced at a Honda dealer for about $210.

Get the dealer part. Aftermarket will fail again in a couple of years.

You got six or seven years out of the OEM part. Not too bad at all when you
amortize the cost.

You're lucky. Up here in snowy Canada, I get four years out of a similar
dealer part, and less than two out of Midas. Guess what gets put on my car
now.
