Default Rear window defroster on 2002 Accord EX V6

When I turn on the rear window defroster on my 2002 Accord
EX V6, the top 1/8 or so portion does not defrost. Looking
closely at the wire grid, I see that this top portion is not connected
to the lower portion of the grid. Is the top portion separately
controlled, or is it something other than a defrosting wire grid?

Window-integrated FM antenna?

To tell you the truth, I can't remember how it was in my '00 Accord, but I
thought all the visible wires were part of the defroster system. I may be
wrong...

Cheers,

Pete

Yup, the top portion is the antenna, no defrosting. Too bad they couldn't
make a defrosting antenna.

They do. Turn on any of those hot-air talk radio stations, and....
