I don't like it when some of you nasties flood this group with insults to
America. That said, my message: There isn't supposed to be a "THRILL" in driving. Driving is get from point A to point B safely. Period. If you want a thrill, go get yourself a private plane. Used, they don't cost anymore than a new SUV. They're really fast, exciting and plenty dangerous if you use one to go somewhere, especially in bad weather. You can even do acrobatic flight (like a spin or a hammerhead) in some of them and that will scare the shit out your passenger(s) and you too if you screw up. The problem with planes is they require a lot of smarts to get through ground school, pass the FAA and learn how to control in cross winds good enough to go solo and get your 40 hours in without crashing. Then you have to pass a flight test, going cross country and using radio navigation. And take a flight physical too. Its a lot of hoops and loops and not one in a hundred of you redneck gas pedal jockies could do it. Might as well keep at the mindless bragging about your driving prowness and worshiping at the car marque alter. |
