All:
I just received another the recall for my new 03 CRV EX (I bought it on August 1st). I just had the recall fix Shift cable two weeks ago, now I have to make another appointment to the dealer for this. How can't Honda send both of them the same time? Actually, both these problems were known before I bought the car (but I did not know it). Hai |

There's a hundred thousand Canadians driving around in Dodge Caravans and Plymouth Voyager vans with DEAD AIR BAGS and nobody's going out of their way to notify them. They (the owners) think that the rear wiper is pointing straight up so the 'soccer moms' will have a place to carry their shopping list. You're in good hands (mostly) with a Honda. :-) 'Curly' ------------------------------ To REPLY: If there are a couple of underscores in my return address, you must remove them to reply directly . . . . . . I see that it's alright for Honda to make mistakes since other auto makers
make mistakes and they all suck. But Honda doesn't suck because they are Honda and they can do no wrong even when they do wrong. Honda is the best because Honda mistakes are not as bad as other manufacturers. I guess only Honda is allowed to have problems with their cars because they are Honda. Honda is the best. The Odyssey had automatic side sliding doors that didn't shut right and many people had to bring their minivans back to the dealership to have the problem fixed, but since it's a Honda, it's okay. Honda has no real problems, only other car makers have problems. "'Curly Q. I think it is not correct. Honda makes mistakes just like others but less
and they are willing to recall it right away. I had a problem with GM Oldsmobile Delta 88 before instead of recall the called it "Extended Warranty" and never let owner know about it. I did not know so I did not take to dealer for fix since it was not that bad only when it was cold. The problem was getting worse and the "Extended Warranty" gone, it cost me $500. I was just remarking to some coworkers that I had two recalls (mine sent at
same time) on my 2002 CRV, however I had no other complaints or problems. Now as one who had many problems with every other car I've owned, I really appreciate my CRV at 22000 miles. I do my own oil changes and that is all I've done. Honda filters and 5-20W Valvoline or Castrol. The filters are high but I do 4000 on oil changes. Great vehicle for trips, camping out west (Kids are grown, were in our 50's). "'Curly Q. You should grease the hinges, locks etc. Have a look at the brakes to clean them up and make sure they wear out even. It is also a good idea to get the car on a lift and inspect everything, especially the CV joints booths. |

Very cheap insurance from what I've seen an some of the forums. 'Curly' ------------------- |
