Here is my questions to experts out there.
I drive about 90 total miles a day, in traffic (2000 miles/month). The car currently has 90,000 miles on it, and the factory rotors lasted until 80,000 miles or so until it warped. I have burn through 3 sets of rotors, each set warp within 3 months or so. I am buying the PREMIUM after market rotors from Autozone (by the way, I only bought the first set of rotors, all exhanged rotors were free, but the labor is a pain in the you know what). The rotors that are thicker, heavier ones, not the cheaper, thinner ones. I tighten all the bolts with a torque wrench, so no one can accuse me of impacting the bolts and warpping it that way. My theory - the hub got warped the first time, therefore, bending all subsequent rotor rather quickly. Any expert opinions and SOLUTIONS out there??? Phil |

Did you have them turned when new? If so, then you may have other
suspension problems like worn bearings or joints, causing the warping. dan Philip wrote: > Here is my questions to experts out there. > > I drive about 90 total miles a day, in traffic (2000 miles/month). > > The car currently has 90,000 miles on it, and the factory rotors > lasted until 80,000 miles or so until it warped. > > I have burn through 3 sets of rotors, each set warp within 3 months or > so.
