Appreciate any input from 5th Gen Prelude owners on STB recommendations for
the Prelude. Any modifications that are necessary to provide for clearance, or other installation problems. Results -- handling improvement? |

Noticeable handling improvements for sure. I made one out of 1" heavy
tubing (or 1" light wall pipe). I saw one installed in some other car and it ain't nothing but a pipe with a bit of a bend at each end and a a slight curve in the middle. What did you torque the strut tower nuts to after installation -- 30 ft lbs.
Recall that's what I used before on a Civic. "Pankoski" <pankoski@ccrtc.com> wrote in message news:vok1ggmdg281ea@corp.supernews.com... > Noticeable handling improvements for sure. Have a Neuspeed brace for my 99 Prelude. I noticed the difference right
away. The handling is much more nervous and precise. You need to torque the nuts to 28 ft-lbs (from the manual). Since this was a home-brew device, their were no specs to follow.
