The electric motor and 144 volt battery is warranted for 8 years or 80,000
miles.

Well said. I can't wait to see what happens when fuel cell cars become the
norm over the next few decades. I predict one of the biggest sales years
ever for conventional internal combustion gasoline powered engines. Why?
Simple, many people don't want to pay money to be a beta tester for a brand
new unproven technology - reliability wise.
