Folks there appears to be some confusion about the light I am talking
about. The brake lamp light I am talking about is the red light that
comes on on the picture of the car with the four doors on the dash.

Could this problem be related to another problem I had this summer.
AFter I drove for at least half an hour I was suddenly about to press
the brake pedal all the way down. It was as if there was no
resistance. It only happens in hot days. I was still able to stop but
to have the pedal down all the way seems a bit strange. It is not
doing it anymore perhaps because the weather is getting cooler. Any
thoughts?

I already told you. Replace the damn bulb. A friend had the same problem and it
was the faulty bulb.
