This is for a 98 Prelude. The indicator light that lights up when you have
the parking brake engaged turns on whenever I press on the brake while driving. It shuts off after a few seconds and repeats everytime I brake. Strange thing is, after I've driven a while, this stops happening. Only happens when the car is cold. Does anyone have any ideas what this might be? Just wants some ideas before I take it to get checked out. Thanks |

Don't know about the '98 Prelude specifically, but on most cars the
parking brake indicator doubles as a brake fluid warning light. Check to see if you are low on brake fluid or if the brake fluid level sensor is misbehaving. Needless to say, if you are low on brake fluid you need to find the cause and not simply top it off. Ponce wrote: > > This is for a 98 Prelude. You're probably just on the limit. |
