yes, that's it, if you remove the oil filter you can see it easily.

No, the civic has 2 drains plugs, one on the front under the radiator (I do
not remember the name of this plastic valve) and the bolt on the back of the engine, above the oil filter. That's the way my 98 civic coupe is. I changed the coolant yesterday and quit a bit came out of the block drain plug. It is indeed in the back by the oil filter. It was really tight. I needed a breaker bar to crack it loose. |
