I have a 2002 CR-V EX (no leather) and it came with mats and they're fine
even with our Quebec winter. During summer I carry my mountain bike, camping gear, camping wood... inside the trunk no problem. What I like about the factiry mats is that it is held in place with 2 pins on the driver's side and it fits perfectly allk around the car. It even goes between the seats. Yes, bought it brand new and it came with the mats. We bought the trunk cover. Even though it's hard to see inside with the tinted windows I feel better knowing that people cannot see what I have inside the trunk. I've seen it cheaper on some websites but I don't know if it is as nice as the one the dealer offers. The one from the dealer is fully adjustable with all back positions and there is a place to fix it on the floor when you carry a bigger load and you don't need it. Another tip, remove the middle back seat head rest when you don't need. When it is in place, it blocks the view in the rearview mirror. I store it under the trunk floor along with the owner's manual which I find takes too much room in the glove compartment. |

It's just a moulded plastic tray with a two inch lip all around. Completely waterproof and easy to clean. I've never seen anythin gin the aftermarket even close. There is also a Cargo mat available, but IMHO is nowhere near as practical. Hope that helps, Bill >Hi >I wl be getting my new 03 CRV soon.. > >Thinking to get a few nice floor mats and a liner/mat for the back (trunk) >... wonder if there's any good substitutes around and where to get and price >range etc.. Check out www.hparts.com. Out of all the honda-accessory sites, they seem
to have the best prices. They have "honda" rubber floor mats there for o/a $80.00. Cloth floor mats came standard in my 2004 EX. Not sure about Canada. I put them in my 03 CRV and they are terrific. There's also one piece for the rear seat if you need it. They are indestructible and hold lots of water, mud, drt, sand, etc. |
