I just bought a 1998 accord dx and was wondering if I can replace the
driver seat with one from an LX which is manually height adjustable

Also, when applying a tint to the windows do I have to be concerned
about which side of the back glass the film is applied due to the
defrost element and the antenna.

The film always goes on the inside of the car. Wouldn't last very
long on the outside. Don't worry about the defrost and antenna.
