How do you go about repairing an indicator light for the rear window
defroster? The fuse to the defroster is okay. The light on the defrost switch no longers lights. Is there a bulb to be replaced? Or is the entire switch to be removed and replaced? Will I have to dismantle half the dash panel to get at it properly? |

The bulb is either a filament or an LED. You pop the entire switch out
by pushing from the inside on most vehicles. To do this, you stick your hand into and behind the dash. In my case I pry it out with a knife and did not do any damage. It damages easily. In or on the assembly contains the bulbs (assuming two bulbs.) You have to get it out. > How do you go about repairing an indicator light for the rear window > defroster? > The fuse to the defroster is okay.
