I just bought a 2004 Piot and am dissapointd that there are no coat hooks
above the rear doors. ... or were they just left off of mine??

I know its a little thing, but I do a lot of dry cleaning and would use them
often.

Wow. There are coat hooks nestled inside the grab handles on both sides
of my Odyssey; I can't imagine that Honda is using different grab
handles for Odyssey and Pilot. That doesn't make economic sense.

Are you *sure* the coat hooks aren't there? You have to pull them down
from inside the grab handle area.

They are not! The wierd thing is that it points them out in the manual....
There isnt a good pic of them... just a reference.

My grab handles are wrapped in leather it looks like and have an integrated
light in them.

You have different grab handles than the Odyssey, then. Looks like it's
time for a trip to the dealer to ask about the missing coat hooks.
