Has anyone recently replaced their rear brakes on a 98 Civic sedan?? If so,
wherre and how much?? I have 81K on the odo and think that it may be time..
I would prefer to go to either Midas or Speedy due to the lifetime warranty
unless someone can convince me otherwise.

I live near Yorkdale so somewhere close would be great!

why? do they make noise when you put on the parking brake?

absolutely!!! this is the problem as well as when I step on the brake
pedal..same high pitched squeel..

Given that brakes are actually made to wear, what does a lifetime warranty
on them mean? AFAICT it means they get you to keep coming back with $$ for
more err.. punishment and grief. I'd advise finding a good independent
shop which specializes in imports or Hondas specifically. The franchises
may occasionally have a decent mechanic but if he's that good he'll be gone
quickly.
