It looks like my car is leaking oil between the oil filter mount(?)
and the engine block. It's pretty hard to see or even get a socket
too, and I can't tighten the top bolt unless I removing the oil
filter.

Is this a common spot for leaks? Does anyone know if there is a gasket
between these two?

p.s. the car has 340,000+ kms

I have an 1988 Accord Lxi with the same problem. What was your fix? Is
there an oring or gasket between the block and oil filter mount?
