I'm looking for information on the airbags in a 1997 Accord. Specifically I want to know things like speed of deployment, size, or type of propellent used. I've searched and searched and can't find what I'm looking for. If someone could point me in the right direction I'd sure appreciate it. -- Matt Miller "The good news is guinea bleeds. He calls me up whenever he wants something one could expect to find on the Internet. Usually I'm able to find something after a few minutes with Google, but this one is more difficult. I really don't know anything about why he wants to know this, I try not to pry. -- Matt Miller "The good news is guinea bleeds. The bad news is guinea's dead." - Benny Zavala, crazy person |

You're close Chip, actually Sodium Azide IS the pyrotechnic charge that ignites and creates an inert gas, nitrogen. Can't
say that I agree about the peanut butter smell either; I'll have to pay closer attention at the next deployment event... ;-) Chip Stein wrote: > TomP <roadcyc-O@socal.rr.com> wrote in message > > I'm looking for information on the airbags in a 1997 Accord. > > > Specifically I want to know things like speed of deployment, size, or type > > > of propellent used.
