Not made "in" California, but made "for" California.
Some parts are different for California-smog cars.

In my case, there are a lot of differences, including a
steel 11 gallon fuel tank instead of a 13 gallon plastic tank.

I don't know which parts might be affected on your car. The questions
come up in a particular order on the parts computer, and may or may not
affect the part you are trying to buy.
