Go to an A/C specialist. No offense to the dealers, BUT...
they will rape you on the price.

OK, what exactly do I ask an AC person to do? I took it to one a month
ago, and if I remember correctly for something like 200 they would
"clean the system out", whatever that meant. I remember that they said
they would have to take the refridgerant out and refill when done.
Does that make sense?

Bleach kills spores and bacteria. I spay food grade Hydrogen Peroxide
on food to keep spores away. Food process plants use HP on food
containers before sealed with food.
