I agree with the poster that suggested that you take it to a Honda Dealership and have them check the knock sensor and catalytic converter. Do it when the the tank has 1/4 or less so the mechanic can easily hear it. The warranty should cover it. |

Just one more observation I made about my car pining and that is, when the car's relatively cold, I noticed that the pinging noise is almost inaudible, if there at all. But once the car's warmed up sufficiently, you can definitely hear it. |
