I just had a new stereo installed in my 99 Accord EX. I noticed that night
driving home the clock light was not on as it normally is when I turn the headlights on. I took the car back to the shop where the stereo was installed. They pulled out the clock and made sure the 2 plugs were attached properly and they were. The clock keeps time and the hazard light button next to the clock works so they are claiming it's not there problem. Is there a light bulb of some sort in the clock? I'm gonna take the car to my mechanic for it's 75000 mile tune-up and have them check it out. Maybe this was just a coincidence that the light went out the same day the stereo was installed? Maybe not???? Rick |

Maybe not???? the bulb is bad. it's a chronic problem. the bulb is lit whenever the key is on. it has nothing to do with the hadlights or dimmer circuit. and it is not grounded near the stereo. it's a coincidence. I spoke to my Honda mechanic today he said the same thing. As I'm taking my
car into have it's 75000 mile oil/filer and tune-up on Monday they'll check it out. Well my mechanic had to replace the entire clock yesterday as replacing the
light bulb did not fix the problem.
